Kathleen Smith, Graduate Nursing Program Director, and colleagues Kathleen Kalb, Rozina Bhimani, Maggie Pharris, Beth Stevens and Tracey Gran received a five year grant from the US Department of Health's Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for $54,990 to establish a Nursing Faculty Loan Program, which offers loans to students in Master's and Doctoral degree programs in nursing that are forgivable when they serve as nursing faculty upon graduation.
