Project Description
Rebecca Hawthorne, PhD, Associate Professor, received a $50,000 grant from the George Family Foundation to further the MAOL program. The initiatives include: supporting continued faculty and curriculum development in intercultural leadership competence and the integration of global perspectives into the MAOL program through ongoing individual and collaborative work, extending intercultural leadership learning beyond MAOL to engage the broader University and community partners in shared intercultural leadership learning events, stepping up design and delivery of custom, faculty-led MAOL study abroad course offerings for students and alumnae/i to immerse more participants in cross-cultural leadership learning, and implementing the second phase of the MAOL Diversity and Inclusion Plan by actively seeking to diversify students and faculty by race, gender and generation.
