Project Description
Heather Bidinger, MS, Assistant Professor, received a $3,710 grant from PAEA Don Pedersen Research Grants Program to better understand preceptor perceptions of organizational facilitators to precepting students. This exploratory qualitative study will purposefully sample 20-30 preceptors from different healthy systems and private practices to learn their perspectives and experiences. Given the significant changes in health systems across the country in recent years, it is critical to have current perspectives from preceptors working in a variety of health systems and locations. The results will provide a guide on how to work more successfully with health care organization partners, preceptors and other stakeholders to build a stronger foundation for our future primary care workforce.
