Project Description
The O'Shaughnessy received a $3,000 grant from Arts Midwest to work with The Ordway to bring Camille Brown and her company to the Twin Cities and create a 5-day residency experience for the entire community that will take place Feb 17-21, 2015. This includes 1 masterclass at the Ordway (Feb 17); four school matinees at The O'Shaughnessy (Feb 19 & 20); a meet & greet youth in Robin Hickman's "Lovin' The Skin I'm In" empowerment group and girls from GIRLS IN ACTION & The G.I.R.L. Initiative; talkbacks after two of the matinees with the cast; 1 class visit at St Kate's; and a 1 public performance with talkback (Feb 21).
