Project Description

Mary Hearst, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of Public Health, received a $51,040 grant from the Better Way Foundation to provide gap funding for the Serving the Whole Child community/university partnership. The funding will allow for analysis and synthesis of child, parent and partnership data. A new grant application will incorporate this analysis. The long term goal of this partnership is to decrease the education gap which differentially impacts children of color. The summer gap funding will allow for data synthesis from the past three years and submit an enhanced intervention plan for the next four years.
