Project Description
John Fleming, Assistant Professor of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy, Mary Moberg, Associate Professor of Nursing, and Penelope Moyers, Dean of Henrietta Schmoll School of Health, received a $3,000 Faculty Research & Scholarly Activities Grant to look at chronic pain and nurses' understanding of chronic pain while treating orthopedic surgical patients on the A7 ward at North Memorial Hospital. The project includes a prospective survey given prior to and following a planned chronic pain guideline education and implementation.
