Project Description
Jill Welter, Associate Professor of Biology, received a $7,500 Faculty Research & Scholarly Activities Grant to study a geothermally active watershed in Iceland to look at the temperature-nitrogenase activity relationship as well as the relationship between nitrogen fixation and key metabolic processes in river ecosystems and how this relationship is affected by temperature.
