Project Description
Kay Tweeten, Professor of Biology, and Joy Larmouth, student researcher, received a $2,000 award from the 3M Small Scale Grant program to investigate the role of autophagy and apoptosis in degrowth in Lumbriculus variegatus. The project will use Western blotting and fluorescent microscopy to explore the possible roles of autophagy and apoptosis in degrowth.
