Project Description
Michelle Wieser, Director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, won a $12,500 grant from the Carol Easley Denny Award to examine the education and professional issues for women MBAs, their outcomes, and critical influences on intrinsic and extrinsic success factors. As demonstrated by the issues relating to women and MBA, which are recounted in academic literature as well as the popular press, further analysis of the MBA experience and outcomes for women will contribute new insights to the body of knowledge on this topic. The gaps in the existing literature expose questions over why things don’t seem to have improved for women MBAs, or if they have, why this isn’t more prominent within the literature.
