Project Description
Deep Shikha, Professor of Economics, and Jyothi Gupta, Professor of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, were awarded $10,000 to develop a new Global Search for Justice Course, produce a documentary on transforming women’s lives through a new paradigm, and continue an on-going partnership with community organizations in India. The new course will incorporate a transformative service learning pedagogy and a global studies component: students will visit the rural communities in India and examine the intersection of women’s daily occupations and wellbeing.
