Project Description

Jennie Whitehouse, Assistant Professor of Nursing, received a $1,050 Curriculum Development Award to develop a dynamic global health course within the Master of Science in Nursing: Entry-Level (MSNEL) program curriculum to examine social justice issues related to health and disease in populations throughout the world. Students will participate in an immersion experience to gain knowledge of the nurse role working within a unique environment and valuing the strengths, challenges and needs of either a diverse domestic or international population.
