Project Description
Teri Burgess-Champoux, Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, received an $875 Faculty Research & Scholarly Activities Grant to develop and test a survey. The study will assess the prevalence of food insecurity in college students attending private universities in Minnesota (St. Catherine University, Augsburg College, St. Thomas University, Hamline University, and Macalester College) and examine the perceptions, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of the target population regarding food insecurity.
