Teri Burgess-Champoux, Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, received an $875 Faculty Research & Scholarly Activities Grant to develop and test a survey that will accomplish the following tasks: 1. Assess the prevalence of food insecurity in college students attending private universities in Minnesota (St. Catherine University St. Paul/Minneapolis, Augsburg College, St. Thomas University, Hamline University, and Macalaster College) 2. Examine the perceptions, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of the target population regarding food insecurity.
