Project Description
Catherine Ibes, Adjunct Professor for Advanced Montessori Programs, received a $400 Curriculum Development Award to purchase teaching materials to offer students the opportunity to hold, touch and analyze various rock types using large hand samples as a part of the geology and rock cycle for the traditional and Montessori STEM certificate programs, as well as purchase some materials for soil identification and a DVD that explores the interface between the rock cycle, water cycle, soil erosion and agricultural production.
