Project Description
Syneva Barrett, Assistant Professor of Montessori Programs, received a $780 Curriculum Development Award to develop two Montessori Renewal courses – a science course for early childhood educators and a science of evolution course for elementary educators. The courses will each be part of a five course graduate series offered by the Education Department through St. Catherine University Advanced Montessori Programs. These courses will help Montessori teachers update their curriculum content and pedagogical practices as well as provide a holistic health component.
