Kaye Smith, Assistant Professor of Math & Physics, received a $400 Curriculum Development Award to develop an Introduction to Engineering course at St. Kate's. The course will focus on engineering design using hands on work and will incorporate design for the unique needs of women. This course will be a required course in the Applied Physics program that is currently being developed. This course will transfer to the University of MN and St. Thomas for students who seek a Dual Degree major in engineering.
