Design Thinking for Patient Centered Care: An Interprofessional Perspective.

Interprofessional education and emerging practice play an important role in ensuring the delivery of patient centered quality healthcare.

Suggested topic areas for this year's Summit include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Interprofessional team based models that promote patient centered care
  • Systems, processes, and technology that supports patient centered team based practice
  • Innovative educational models for preparing health care clinicians and students for patient centered, team-based practice

    Abstracts (presentations and posters): Limited to 300 words and must include the following subheadings:

  • Background
  • Purpose
  • Description of the interprofessional patient centered team based model, innovation
  • Implementation strategies
  • Outcomes or Program evaluation
  • Recommendations
