Shankar's residency will be conducted in partnership with several St. Catherine University departments, faculty, students, and community partner organizations. The O’Shaughnessy presents events each year. Over the past three seasons, it has significantly increased the quality, scope and accessibility of its programming. Focused on its signature Women of Substance series, the venue has invited a wide array of women artists to the stage. From programs celebrating the achievements of individual artists and ensembles who have landmark careers, to premieres of new work by emerging artists, the series has stretched its inclusivity and creative palette with dynamic results.
