Project Description

Kathy Mills, Assistant Dean for the College of Applied and Continued Learning, received a $200,447 grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation to design a comprehensive college and career readiness experience (Starting Up!) that increases the number of low-income adults pursuing post-secondary credentials in demand-based occupations through the College of Applied and Continuing Learning (CACL) at St. Catherine University. The initial focus for this program is on emerging high-demand entry-level occupations in health care such as the patient/client care coordination or navigation model.
