Project Description
Kathleen Kalb, Associate Professor of Nursing, Lindsay Schipper, Assistant Professor of Nursing, and Alison Watkins, Assistant Professor of Nusing, received a $2,000 Faculty Research & Scholarly Activities Grant to describe how nursing faculty teaching in all levels of nursing programs at St. Catherine University prepare students to be leaders in nursing using descriptive methodology and qualitative analysis of data elicited using a researcher-designed questionnaire. Furthermore, this research will address the perceptions of nursing faculty regarding their preparation and practice as leaders in their advanced practice role as academic nurse educators.
