Project Description

The PIs, along with public health and nursing students, will work with the White Bear Lake Area School District to educate parents and their 1^st-5^th grade students about lice in order to increase effective prevention and treatment of lice, reduce stigma among children and families affected by lice infestation, and increase communication between families and the school health office. Students and faculty will collaborate to develop and provide the education, and students will gain skills on how to conduct scholarly inquiry and increase social justice awareness.
