Project Description

MarySue Ingman, Associate Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program, was awarded an APDC Grant for $1,405 to conduct a methodological study that will examine the reliability and validity of the Physical Therapy Healthy Lifestyle Appraisal (PTHLA). The PTHLA is a self-reporting questionnaire used by physical therapists to assess their patients’ current health behaviors, their readiness to change the behavior, the importance of the behavior, and their self-efficacy with performing the behavior. Phase 3 of this study will finalize the reliability of the questionnaire.
