Project Description

Jolene Johnson Armstrong, Assistant Professor of Physics, received an $800 Curriculum Development Award to develop the first upper level elective class that counts towards a physics major. The course will expose students to a variety of techniques used in biophysics through guest lectures, research papers, and project based labs. The course is appropriate for all students who have one semester of chemistry, one semester of biology, and two semesters of physics.
