Project Description

Kathleen Matsuka, Associate Professor of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy, received a $2,461 Faculty Research & Scholarly Activities Grant to conduct a study as part of a larger research agenda around community falls prevention for older adults involving the WHIR Center and interprofessional faculty and students. The grant will fund a feasibility study with the research question, "Are fall prevention outcomes of the National Institute on Aging's Matter of Balance program improved with the addition of interprofessional programming provided by SCU students and faculty?"
