Aims & Scope

JICSE seeks to foster the continued exploration of the field of interpretation to promote dialogue about the work of signed and spoken language interpreters. One area of study could be interpreters' role in recognizing communication inequity and their ability to identify methods to advance communication equity for deaf people. Other areas of focus may include communication access, ethics, diversity, culture, language, and other related topics.
