Abstract
In the wake of the #MeToo movement an awareness of the issue’s pervasiveness has been raised, bringing about public debates. Universities across the country now require an online-training course for students and staff related to the prevention of sexual assaults on campuses. While these courses offer some value, this brief exposure to the issue is not enough to prepare students to enter the workplace equipped with a framework for addressing these sexual harassment issues. This paper discusses efforts to prepare students to take control and make a positive change as they enter the workplace; specifically, the authors developed and delivered a topics course entitled: #MeToo: Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.
Paper Awarded: Best paper in the NAMS Management Education Conference Track for the 2019 MBAA International Conference
