Abstract
The Recovery Hub for American Women Writers is an NEH-funded initiative in collaboration with the Society for the Study of American Women Writers that “supports projects recovering the work of women writers by providing digital access to forgotten or neglected texts and/or extending them with network mapping, spatial analysis, multimedia storytelling, innovative contextualization, and the distant reading of massive datasets.” The Hub has recently taken on its first pilot projects. Members of the planning team and pilot participants will discuss the Hub’s launch and underlying methods and practices.
